I like the more subtle recoloring better. I think the top image is too drastic an overall shift in color. The bottom one looks the same at first but only if you look at some of the flesh tones, and then the colors in the background are much more naturally saturated.

But I'd rather not see a drastic retinting of an entire frame like in a basic color editing software.

The grain added in the Naboo palace is just amazing. It looks so much more lifelike and yet the overall color tint isn't really changed much.
