Fett was one of my favourites aswell. Just because he had that aura of smart, hard, cool about him. He was out to earn his crust as a bounty hunter and didnt give a **** how he got the job done. The battle scarred Mandalorian armour was all part of his mystique. If you had a high bounty on your head then you knew the infamous Boba Fett was after ya. And the PT ruined him. I didnt need to know who his dad was, and that he was an annoying, irksome brat. That's not how I'd envisaged him after ESB. I'd imagined some kind of slave (hence the ship name) who had a rough childhood, escaped slavery, and was forced to get by on his own. And life experience turned him into a tough SOB who eventually became a bounty hunter. A notorious bounty hunter. The (original) voice did fit that portrayal. Cold and calculated. Morrison is a very good actor, in 'Once We Were Warriors' he plays a violent, abusive, alcoholic bastard and he does it extremely well. So Jango didnt really test his acting prowess and he sleepwalked through the whole thing, probably. But the kiwi twang isn't something you relate to Fett and the AOTC ruined his mystique.
