I’m looking for a HD (720p or 1080p) fan edit of the theatrical versions of the OT than can be played on a DVD player or on a 360. (I don’t have a BluRay player)

You can't play 720p or 1080p on a DVD player. Harmy has done a set of brilliant theatrical versions in 720p but i think they are in AVCHD format so you would have to convert them to a playable format for the Xbox360. Check out the de-specialized version in the preservations thread.

Ok and what format does the xbox360 need?
PS: ANH:R made me feel like a kid when I watched it.

I think you can run Harmy's file through Handbrake, the "normal" settings will play on the 360.
