That looks really cool. Just even posting my post and reading yours makes me want to go out an buy it. I know a store where it is held here in my little town. However, I'm sure the Amazon price is cheaper, so I just have to be patient if I choose to order it instead of going for instant pleasure by purchasing it at the store.
If the Phase II is of as great interest to you as it is to me, then let me also recommend this book called "Trek: The Lost Years" (not to be confused with JM Dillard's novel "Star Trek The Lost Years") as another source of great information about the aborted second series.

I've been a hard core Star Trek for years, and in my youth I had built up quit a collection of books involving the show. I was much more into the background and production then in the expanded universe novels.
