Is it Jaina? I thought she was supposed to be attractive.

It is Jaina. But look at FH 1, thats supposed to be Mara and she isn't looking so hot either.

Eh..

No one really expected good covers for the NJO. They are almost all horrible and/or have nothing to do with the books.

Remember "Jedi Eclipse" ?? From the cover, you would think from the cover that Han Solo teamed up with a Vong. The only good covers are the Edge of Victory and Enemy Lines, which happen to be my favorite books in the series anyway.

I can't speak for the Final Prophecy, as I haven't yet read it. I am on part two of the second FH book.

Ahem...Chaltab...what is that?

Anyway, I hated FP. It just seemed as if everything was pointless in the whole book, nothing really impacted anything.

yeah it had that aspect, i found that i made me hate nom anor thou
b4 that book i really liked his charater but after it man i hated him
the really point of that book was the level the ground for the unifying force so that is why you feel the way you do, it set the stage for the last book.

I think that the NJO books should just be left at that, books. Its hard enough to translate one 500 page book to screen, much less 19 500 page books to screen.
However, if the stories kept that serious edge to them it would make a great series, I'll give you that much. But I don't think its feasible.

Eh.. I think the NJO stories are too dark and violent to tell visuallly without and R rating.

Think about the Voxyn killing the Twi'lek at the start of SbS... And the... situation of the boy who tried to save Viki Shesh on Coruscant in Rebel Stand...

that drastically less graphic, and it wouldnt be r rated at all, you could make it in pg for sure. look at shows like DBZ ppl dieing all the time, and shows like x men it is possible.

And Xmen isn't particularly gory.

i know but they could have been, the stories both had elements where gore was implied bu tnot shown, the same could be dont with NJO

i did think nom anor was goign to convert as soon as he started his little rebellion i expected it. then with the way this book started to shape up i thought it was going to happen, infact the tranformation that occured in harrars character is what i expected to see in nom anors.

I've not finished TUF yet, but I am almost to part four. And I have gotten past the plot twist.

I must say it was really satisfying for Mara to beat the crap out of Anor.

I finished it last night. It was... good.

I just get the sense that there wasn't much actual conclusion. As if everybody made stupid desicions and went about their business.

Although Leia and Han getting the Kilik Twilight was really cool after Tatooine ghosts dissapointing ending.

yeah your right they kinda took the easy way out with sekot. but this is why i cant wait unitil the fallout books. i am not going to cast final judge ment until i read that book.

Well.. at least I'll have the DVDs, KoToR two, and Episode three for my Starwars "fix" until then.
