That reminds me of how, when I was a kid, I hated facial hair and never, ever wanted to sport a mustache or beard when I grew up. Fast forward to today, and I go around sporting a short beard, shaving only once a month after it starts growing unevenly and becomes an annoyance (I admit, though, that this is primarily due to a combination of laziness and a lack of decent razors, not because I particularily like having facial hair).
