The DKR 15/70 IMAX audio was some of the worst I've heard in a long while. Horridly loud in the first reel, and then far too quiet throughout in the dialogue scenes. It felt terribly dull to be honest. It may have bneen the IMAX theater though, many reported similar experiences with TDKR.

Is there enough interest to do a similar Theatrical Dolby thread? One for Stereo, Surround, SR and 5.1 mixes ported to LD and the like?

I have had the same experience with TDKR both theater and Bluray/DVD.  I WILL however take a guess by saying that if we can come across the DTS cinema CD's, at least the audio could be manually adjusted to be more even across the board BUT it would take someone with know-how to do it properly.

That said, I'm sure there could be a separate thread for the Dolby stuff as I KNOW we have plenty here that are interested in ALL available audio options be preserved .... especially if they have been changed since they were originally released.
