Okay. Changes have been made, we all know it. But this, this is ridiculous. Why, oh why, did they feel the need to change the Krayt Dragon cry that obi wan uses to scare away the sand people? The new scream sounds so incredibly bad! What was the purpose? why this change? what about 1977 technology didn’t allow you to make the Krayt Dragon scream sound 100 times worse George? Come on asshole, justify this one, I defy you to justify this change.

Oh, man I just heard the new scream. It sucks. A lot. It's way worse than the original one, which was pretty cool. I, too, would like to see Lucas justify this one.

But then again, it does make some kind of sense, the sound he used to make was the same one the Dewback made. So I suppose that
Lucas didn't want two creatures to sound alike.

Damn this to hell! This sounds like some cheesy synthesizer sound. The old one was a much more realistic monster sound. Hey, maybe he´s done this so it´s absolutely positive that scene won´t scare the "young ones". You see Lucas has kids now and he has to protect them and make things nice and safe!! Oh and he also has to make sure to tell all important storyevents at least twice,... again for the "young ones". (Sarcasm!!!)

Probably not, as the fame he got for doing Star Wars overwhelmed him in his twilight years and he hated that after all those infamous old war movies he had done, plus other more serious acts were just being dismissed, and that he'd always be remembered as only Obi-Wan. I was always saddened that he felt like that, but I spose I don't blame him, being a classic British actor of the old days of movie making, to be almost literally stalked by mass media, and uber geeks till his death. lol

It sounds like a cop car that got its siren blasted with a shotgun two seconds after it went on. If the Tuskens are scared of this ridiculous sound, no wonder Mannequin had no problem killing them all effortlessly in Ep. II. He probably burped and passed the other gas loudly, and they died of fear instantly.

Still, it's not nearly as awful as having Hayjerk penetrate RotJ's ending. I could actually accept all existing changes except that one.

If that ticks you off, watch this frame by frame and watch the bottom right side of the frame.
I'm not sure if its a mouse pointer or a fly buzzing past the telecine, but either way, its an ugly flaw.

I never knew this.............but even as the ghost of Obi-Wan did(conceede to the truth), so would Mr. Guiness I'm sure......hind sight is always 20/20. At least as far as I know, he is well respected by all who see him in anything he did. I for one sought out other pictures of his after the Star Wars Trilogy to find out what made him the man he was. He had such a prescence about him. And some of his older pictures were really fantastic. It was "Bridge Over The River Kwai" that got me hooked as a true fan of his......

Sorry, got carried away......that noise..................... STILL SUCKS!!!!

LMAO, I assume there was some sort of secret contest between all the kindergardens around the states: "Make your scariest dragon-noise and send it to LFL". Heck, my neighbour's dog can do scarier than that during a full moon. I wonder why they didn't just re-use JarJar's sentence: "Meeh'sa baaack!" instead, at least then the scene would have been intentionally funny.
