Anyone else reading the character info for "The Shade" (that is, surely, Luke Skywalker) and get serious flashbacks to the Preacher (the blind hermit Paul Atreides) in Children of Dune?
Maybe this IS legit--after all, Lucas never could stop cribbing from Herbert. Anakin's turn to the dark side for Padme's sake in the recut version of ROTS has the imprint of Dune Messiah all over it.
