Still until episode 7 surfaces its too early to say if Disney is now destroying Star Wars, like George Lucas did from 1994-2011.
They have handled Marvel and Pixar well. But They wrecked Narnia and ruined both Tarzan and the Martian series by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
Walden Media made the Narnia movies, even after Disney passed on the more recent one.
Been a while since I've seen the animated Tarzan film, but I don't recall it being bad. John Carter was simply a perfect storm of bad marketing. Star Wars has somewhat better recognition with the movie going public.
