Unfortunately, this was all handled with analog technology for the Harris-Katz restoration, and the color balance is far from the same as originally.

Actually though, the BD is from a new scan of the negative, digitally color corrected. It's arguably even more flawed than the previous 1996 restoration, color-wise. (Robert Harris attests to this.) The 2005 master would have looked terrible on BD though, for lack of detail in the scan.
