Just got home from an awesome date that didn't end at one of our places, which is really awesome, because it seems like that usually happens and then things get really intense for a few weeks (or days) and then it is all over. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one again, in a way that I am usually not.

On the other hand, I am buzzing hardcore in an unpleasant kind of way, feeling rather nauseated, yet consuming a McDonald's Angus third pounder (would never even consider doing something so disgusting when not tight), and feeling extremely depressed that it is now exactly 1/2 finished. I'd normal gag at the thought of such a thing, but at this moment, it is the most amazing thing I have ever eaten. When it is gone, I may have to cry myself to sleep. Totally should have ordered two of the things. It is freaking awesome!

 

EDIT: It is gone now, and I feel really empty inside. I wish it could have lasted forever. :(

EDIT 2: If you accidentally put a "j" in from of EDIT, it comes out as JEDIT, which totally contains the word "JEDI" but with a "T" on the end. HOW SWEET IT THAT?!? How it is I've lived this many yeatrs and am just now realizing this? This discovery totally makes up for my new found lack of a McDonald's Angus Third Pounder in my hand!

Ok, now I understand bkev's New Thread Thread bump.

And I'm sooooooo disappointed I didn't get a C3PX reaction to my post in his BioShock 3 thread.

Based on that post, I feel like I am kind of pretentious when drunk.

Do they even have tacos in Scotland? Anywhere? Mexican restaurants seemed extremely rare when I was in the UK (though I did find one in England, and the food was really weird).

I used to work in a Mexican restaurant as a plongeur so I have had nachos, I had burritos, I've had chimicchangas but never a taco.

I love tea so I've drunk gallons of Earl Grey, Lapsang Souchong, Rose Puchong. I've had Tibetan tea with Yak Butter, Touareg tea with mint. I've even had a Mongolian Motherfucker with tea.

Kinda slow around these parts lately.  Probably a good thing, since I need to focus more on my studies and not have you clowns distracting me ;)

Why would someone want to blow fish?

That is pretty ironic.  He's written a couple things hoping I'd read them on YouTube, but nothing for the past few days.

My wife's grandmother is 96 years old.  Two weeks ago she was quite healthy for a woman of her age.  She lived with my wife's parents, but because they were going out of town for a couple of weeks, they thought it would be best to temporarily put her in a rest home.  In 8 days' time, they managed to break her femur getting her into or out of a wheelchair (they've been quite vague on the details).  But wait, why were they using a wheelchair?!  She walks quite well for her age.  Well, in the hospital they surgically repaired her leg and inserted a metal rod.  Then they sent her back to the same rest home to recover.  There she developed a pressure sore on her coccyx (very easy to prevent with even just a little attention), she has hardly eaten or drunk anything, and her injured leg has begun to stiffen and turn inward.  When I brought it to the attention of the LPN there, she said, "Oh, well, we heard some crackles in her lungs so we're going to take care of that first."  Obviously breathing takes a priority over extremities, but you mean to tell me that in all the time you spend neglecting this woman, you cannot address both issues simultaneously.  And why is this the first we're hearing about crackles in her lungs?  Of course I was too polite to say this, but the other advice I offered was brushed off with that smiling "don't tell me how to do my job" face.  Now she's back in the hospital with fluid in her lungs due to heart failure (she already had minor heart problems, but they should have been picked up on sooner than this), receiving care in the ICU.  Her blood pressure continues to drop really low, and though most of what I get is second hand from my mother-in-law, it appears she is going into septic shock.  I understand she's quite elderly and everyone has their time to go, but there's no need to rush the process.  This rest home has essentially killed my wife's grandmother.  I haven't even mentioned the unkind things the nurses have said about her and my mother-in-law when they thought no one was listening, nor the various other shortcomings my in-laws have been documenting.

Is that the guy who keeps spamming Harmy's thread with stupid anime posts?  That guy annoys me more than blowfish.
