This is one of those odd times where I'm going to put my trust in good ole' GL. While the prequels were much more action-oriented than the OT, other than TPM I certainly wouldn't call them kids-only entertainment. Hell, ROTS is PG13 (it really shouldn't be, but that's beside the case.) Since he did the treatment for the sequel trilogy I expect an all-ages demographic. Can't speak for merchandizing or side projects though.
