How does it change the plot of the movie? Maybe it changes the "history" of the film in the sense that the error is erased. But the movie is the same. Erasing the visible glass digitally does not make it such that Indy did not fall into the Well of the Souls and was faced with a king cobra that reared up and hissed at him. The plot and flow of the movie are exactly the same. The behind-the-scenes history is the only thing that has changed. If you feel otherwise, Jimbo, than please explain how the movie is different.

The thing is though I feel the same way about Star Wars. I don't believe most of the changes hurt the movie. People are always talking about film history really its all the same thing. Both don't complement film history but do make these a better movie then they were before.
