Ah, I haven't looked for "clues", but the connection "Weyland/Yutani" and Horus is intersting too (like eagle and Prometheus)

and saw this tonight, it's from "Resident Evil: Damnation" - looked extreme nice for CGI, and had many parallels to Alien/Thing ;-)
