Thinking Disney will act on the OUT in any way until FOX's distribution rights have lapsed is wishful thinking at best. As it stands, unfortunately, time and time again the sales have proven that not enough people care to make it a priority. These recent business shakeups imply that they're working on building their own universe first that they can market independent of previous lore; after that, maybe we'll see attention to the classics.

Also, FOX owns Star Wars '77 perpetually. I can imagine Disney will eventually figure out a distribution deal, but this is even more worrisome than the 2020-date FOX has distribution for the other films up until.
