I had to look up the robot's name: Roberto.
Anyway, I'm going to use a voice (or voices) for the battledroids this time instead of subs...Roberto might fit the bill.

You could just give voices to the super battledroids, and do the regular cannon fodder bots the same as before. ;)

More ideas in my head.
I've heard alot of talk about Maul being Grevious, why not someone else?
* This clip it not really intended to be very funny, it was made more in mind as to get ideas flowing. Considering this characters relation change to Anakin in Frink's Ep 1

I swear I was on holiday in Wales and I heard a Berzerk machine say, "Coin detected in pocket. Yachi Da".

The Berzerk robots sound kind of like the Cylons (which I do hope will appear in the space battle).

I kind of like this idea! And there's plenty of Liam Neeson movies to lift choice dialog from.
I also think Grevious' ship could have a really bad muffler. ;)

I've been thinking that whatever voice I use for Grevious, I need to figure out some way to "robotize" it if it isn't already so. Also I'm not sure how I will be able to get rid of all those damn coughs...
Maybe I should use Patty or Selma. ;-)

I am reminded of Derek and Clive's coughing contest which is on Youtube but should you wish to investigate I suggest you do it at home as it's not to everyone's taste and certainly isn't safe for work (though some of the coughing is great).

Other possible quotes you could use: "Hey, I told you, you don't get your gun until you tell me your name."

I'm okay with the gestures, which is why I thought of Patty or Selma. It's the sound that will cause problems, as I said it won't match any voice I end up using.

Possibly. It may not be clear who is talking, however. Same problem I may have with the Super Battle Droids, incidentally.

One "high end" video effect I recall from the 80's was wrapping a live image around a rotating cube shape. (Might have been the Video Toaster.) There must be some modern equivalent in the software you use? That might work for whatever goes into the opera scene...
