Hey TopDollar, I've already seen this one over at ffshrine, and I really have to congratulate you on your efforts. I think I can date your rips back to when I was still running http://soundtracks.mixnmojo.com, but I'm not entirely sure.
However I DID use you (older) rip of TIE Fighter as a guide for assembling my own version of the TIE Fighter soundtrack (which I'm still not finished with... especially the in-flight music). Did you edit your in-flight suites after recording them from MIDI, or while still being MIDI data? Although I did manage to capture the MIDI commands from the game (which I think you described in your rip's readme file), it did have some tempo problems and occasional hiccups. There are compiled MIDIs out there from the several in-flight sets (CONF/CHAL/FAIL etc.), which I've used, but I'd still wish there was an iMUSE player out there to put together a playlist to export these as a single MIDI file
