A little.

I am SO SO sick of getting sick. God dammit. I've been back at school less than a month and this is the second time. I've been taking emergen-c and stuff, so I don't get why this keeps happening to me. My immune system isn't particularly weak, that I know of...

Wow, dude, your immune system is fine. Over dosing on vitamin C isn't going to make you any less sick, that isn't how the immune system works. You're only wasting your money and helping keep those emergen-c shysters in business. If you really want to buy into the whole kooky vitamin c helps you get unsick/keeps you from getting sicker hokum, then just invest in oranges. They're cheaper, they taste better, they have actual health benefits, and their producers don't have to lie to people to sell them.

I feel like I have had several heart attacks just now. It is just the most miserable thing on earth right now. I'm throwing my whole goddamn movie collection and Blu-ray player down the drink now. I won't be able to sleep tonight.

First world problems.

You must take really shitty care of your things if your blu-rays are skipping. I understand you literally have to TRY and damage those bloody things. And if you're throwing your whole collection out, have fun with your old 4:3 P&S tapes derived from beat-up film prints and shitty early restoration techniques. I'm sure they'll love to spend quality time with you again.

I do take care of my blu-rays pretty well. They just rot on their own after two or three years. Or maybe it is the player.

I don't think I've ever had a DVD or Blu Ray disc, suffer DVD rot.    I have had problems with a few skipping.   Sometimes cleaning does the trick,  sometime it was the machine.    I have also had situations where a disc will skip and be unplayable in one machine, but play perfectly fine in another.

I've had a choking cough for the last two days so I went outside...

there's more...

to the chemist's to get something for it and I saw these two brats, bold as brass throwing stones at a greenhouse without anyone saying a thing.

I walked up to them and then bellowed at them and they ran off into a cul de sac so either they live there or they were hiding.

They didn't come out for a while so eventually I went around to the house that had the greenhouse.

A little old lady in her eighties opened the door with one eye (she didn't use her eye to open the door or anything but she just had one of the things).

She smiled and thanked me and now my cough is worse than ever.

It's more rare than LD rot, but it does happen, especially with early discs. My late 90's copy of Moonraker is unplayable, and the first pressing of Goldfinger has one bad layer that won't play. A couple other discs in my collection have changed color under the surface like Moonraker has, but remain playable so far.

HD DVD is threatening to unseat Laserdisc as the rot king.

Blu Ray is still young enough to still have playback bugs across all the brands out there.

Where were you in '77?

She's not in my coven.

And if she can't manifest a type one glass shielding spell on her own turf she ain't getting in.

Religious intolerance is so... nineties.

Ordered a shirt from amazon last week. According to the tracking number, it arrived in my city on the 21st. Wooo!

I waited a few days, still no delivery. Checked the tracking number again, now it had made its way north to Kentucky... uh...

A few more days, North Carolina.

Yesterday it arrived in Dallas, Texas.

Today it left Dallas, Texas.

I feel like my new shirt is on a wild adventure without me... :(

OMG Reminds me of this guy's troubles getting his dvds. Maybe his DVDs and your shirt got the same shipping people.

That guy looks way too old to have been into Power Rangers when it was first airing.

Does anyone else get the vague suspicion that he has Sarah Michelle Gellar trapped in his cellar and his 'friend' Alyson Hannigan is negotiating her release?

It pisses me off to no end that Bingowings' avatar is no longer Ralph Brown.

For over a week one in every ten breaths has been a drawn out screechy cough and you know me I'm partial to a good breathe.

I just can't stop coughing so hard I want to throw up.

There are two kinds of people in this world: those that drive with their headlights on in the middle of the day, and those of us that aren't wankers.

That annoys me. I was wondering why there were so many wankers lately.
