Whose responsibility is it to pay these guys? the Academy or the Producers of Life of Pi? Why haven't these guys been paid?
btw, I just rewatched the acceptance speech. The jaws music started to play long before any reference was made to anyone not be being paid. I suspect they would have been cut off where they were cut off no matter what they said.
