I saw that on HackerNews a few days (weeks?) ago. It's definitely clever.
Try telnet'ing into towel.blinkenlights.nl
Enjoy!

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

When I paste that command in prompt it gives me 10 Ip's and then "request timed out". But I googled what it does. I'm disappointed that I cannot make it work. Humph.
it should keep going after the request timed out message.
Try this:
tracert -w 900 -h 80 216.81.59.173

I guess I'm a boy, cause I have no clue what this is about! :P
What exactly has this got to do with the doughnuts?
Very cool! I guess I am a geek.

Nope. More "timed out" messages, and nothing after that. Could it be because I'm behind a router?

Man, I thought I was a nerd, but same here.
I'm a geeza!!
The telnet thing was very cool, but the traceroute didn't work for me. Is it because my isp limited the hops to 30?

I thought I was a man but... That's funny.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
OK - my problem wasn't the limit on # of hops, but that for some reason my isp defaulted traceroute to showing the numbers rather than the names. Tried it on a different server and it worked.
