The best versions for the Original Trilogy so far on this site that I know of are:
Harmy's Despecialised Edition where he's using the 2011 Blu-rays as the source and he's eliminating all the SE changes by using various sources and is using a colour reference from an unfaded Tech IB print. He's currently working on v2.1 of Star Wars but v1.0 of all three are available:
Dark Jedi's Blu-ray trilogy, where he uses an upscaled version of the GOUT/2006 DVD as the source and has extensive colour correction, fixing smearing problems and reinserting missing frames. He's said that this release is more about the audio options as opposed to the video:
Puggo's 16mm trilogy, where he's using scans from original 16mm film, though this is more of a grindhouse presentation as opposed to clear HD quality. The names for each are:
Star Wars = Puggo Grande (completed)
Empire Strikes Back = Puggo Strikes Back (completed)
Return of the Jedi = Return of the Pug (still working on)
and negative1's 35mm trilogy, where he's using scans from original 35mm film, though this one still has a lot of work left.
In the end, if you're looking for the best presentation so far, definitely go with Harmy's Despecialised Edition, also as it's easier to get too.
