The whole thing was a balls up from the beginning.
If they wanted it to work they should have converted them all at the same time as a single investment and put them out in close succession to each other as a build up to the blu-ray release.
That way the cinema run would have promoted the discs which would also be available in 3D as an added gimmick.
Instead the discs came first and then there was the long well known gap between TPM:3D and AOTC:3D.
That way anyone thinking about seeing the films in anything other than the dodgy DVD sets would get the slightly differently dodgy blu-Ray sets instead of going to the pictures at a tenner plus a pop to see one and wait a year to see the next one.
Even I can see this.
