My husband has this Black and White Star Wars Sleeping bag. The zipper doesn’t work probably because it was hung up on the wall immediately. It has a half drawn side view of Vader’s Mask. CLONE runs down the middle. Then the numbers 3582649831 are listed down largely down near the bottom. The words " Star Wars" are in their typical font.

It is white on one side and black on the other. The label says Star Wars Lucasfilm Ltd. All rights preserved.  It was made in China. It looks like it is in great shape. I kept in a plastic bag for the last 12 years.  I want to list it on Ebay, but I have no idea about it’s value. I haven’t seen any like this one.

Based on recent posts in this forum, it should probably go for about $50,000.

Are you serious or are you hoping since I'm new I will be silly and put a price tag on that. I saw a few jokes you put up on several forum rooms.

I have looked around and we all have a problem. Even if it were worth something, it does not mean we can sell it for that. Especially now with so many people out of work. It is used, and the zipper is broke.  I doubt anyone would want to zip it up. If I had it in my room I would put it a plastic bag and hang it on a wall. If I could afford it. I would use hard plastic.  It would run you about 500 just to get the box made or more. Of course I know a place to get it made for that good price.

Someone may have one like it but had a baby or kid stain it. Well this one was up on a wall. It's clean and kept away in a plastic bag for over 12 years.

I am going to list it on Ebay and start the listing price low after more study.

I'm neither serious nor hoping you list it for something silly.  It was more a comment on some of the other threads we've had in this subforum recently.

Im sorry if I sound so negative. I am so naive and trusting that people take advantage of me. I volunteer for lots of things. I am disabled now, and I'm looking to see some things I have. If this is worth that much well I hit the jack pot. I found out it is called a " Clone Troop Slumber Sack"

It was probably made in between 2000-2008.

I was thinking of putting the bid starting at $1,000

My "Clone Troop Slumper Sack" was Released after 2000. Another one was released on April 2, 2005, but I know that this one is older. I bagged up this one in 2002.  The tag indicates that the maker is Lucasfilms Ltm.

So on Ebay you bid on it.

I would do a google image search for "Vader Sleeping Bag" and see if you spot the design.

See what sort of prices it's going for and set your starting price for a bit under that.

Best of luck on the $1000 starting price.

I did some research. The only ones I could find were from 2003 or 2005, and I know I packed it up in 2001. Why?  I moved in, and I took over the mother role for Cameron. Cameron was 5 and a whopping 50 pounds. He could not fit in this sleeping bag. He slept on the sofa because before I moved in his mother left him and he slept with his dad. His father got it for himself in 2001. Being a fan of STAR WARS , I packed it in Plastic. It looks brand new.

Please also notice that I am going to give 10% of the sale to the Scleroderma Foundation if it sells for 1,000 and and 25% if it sells for more.

The price of 1,000 was just so that I could provide a fair amount to the Foundation. I did research, and it could not have been bought in 2005 since I was married in 2003. I took over finances for the 4 children ages 5-12. I would not get Star Wars stuff for them since they just throw up on everything at that age. Yuck!  We were the Brady bunch. I had two and he had two.

I was science Geek with two science Geek kids.  Both of my girls are Science Majors.  Rebecca got into Engineering to UC Davis and Heather wants to do CSI with the FBI.

There's a lot of information in this thread that I have no idea what to do with.

It's interesting stuff though.

Honestly lcdedmom you'd be more likely to raise that sort of cash by pitching your life story to a TV or film studio than trying to sell an old sleeping bag with a broken zipper. At the very least you should run it as an ebook series as these have become a popular outlet for optioned screenplays.

But best of luck none the less.

You guys are texting back as well, so ..... its selling? I was really looking for a price. I was running through my head about the year I found it, and that I put it away when the zipper broke. It has no wear. If don't have a price for me then??

Honestly, I think you'd be lucky to get $50 for it.
