Wow thats a major rethink. Clearly I have been viewing the idea through existing PT tinted glasses. I have always hoped that the writers are brave enough to kill Ahsoka and make it contribute to Anakin's reason for turning to the dark side (though unfortunately I doubt they will do anything that suggests changes from the canon of the films).
