His make up job and blank expression kill that scene horribly. His face is expressionless and doesn't match the voice. "Yeeess, he would be a great asset." with his eyes staring off in the same direction.
The old Emporer in that scene at least looked like he was thinking. "Yesss... yes. He would be a great asset." His eyes reflect what he is supposed to be thinking.

I just don't like how it turned out. The new dialogue alone is enough for me to prefer the old version.


By saying that you are saying a chimpanzze acted better then Ian McDarmid. I thought he looked fin.


Well, the fact is it did act better. It looks like the pasted a moving mouth onto a still image of the Emperor.
