UPDATE - TR47 Return of the Jedi - THE TORRENT

Okay - It seems that my line quality here in my new house SUCKS! - I just did a package loss test and it stuck it tongue out at me!!!

So I'll need to call the cable co. (the enemy

) and have them come replace all the beat down RG6 and even some RG59 (swept tested at 950 thru 2200 MHz!! - RG6 is fully swept tested to 2.4 - 3 Gigahertz ) that's on my roof

20 minutes later......

- I was checking it out (the cable) and it's old, beat-down, faded and it actually feels like the dielectric is brittle (I'm playing with it now and it it cheapo RG6 and some real thin RG59 and yes it is brittle and cracking!!) - THAT and WERE 4 barrel connectors in there so it was really 5 pieces joined together SO I replaced about 50ft. coming INTO my house -

I just tested it again and it WAY better!!

- But I'm sure I'll still have it drop again as it's more then likely the cable from the pole (DAMN - I can't legally do it myself - and my insurance wouldn't cover me

)

Well they cam out and the FIRST guy said I was fine...

You see it's bee kinda intermittent so of course it was working just fine when he was here BUT I insisted it was wack.

SO I busted out my trusty logs!!

SO he finally took me serious!

A few hours later his supervisior showed up - HE also found nothing wrong then insisted it was my PC - So I asked could it be two PC's and a Mac all having the same problems????

SO after he took my modem to the hub and tested it there.....

He came back and said he lost 32 packets of 300 AT the HUB!!

I hope they have it fixed buy next week..... SO I may have a friend host it next weekend for me locally.

But this is WAY beyond me just replacing some bad cable line!!
