I just watched the film "Apocalypto", and that showed an end to a civilization, by the introduction of alien visitors that changed the lives of the indigenous peoples of North, Central, and South America forever. It was to them, the end of their world. So don't get stuck in thinking that the "end of the world" will bring visual destructive manifestations on a biblical scale all at once.  The change of things may not be felt by everyone at the same moment, and it may be veiled to most at the spiritual level.

Anyway, are any of you planning to do anything in particular right when it's supposed to end? I'm considering listening to some intense soundtrack music to get me revved up. (Something like Requiem for a Dream, The Claw from Toy Story 3, The Battle of Yavin, etc.)

I've had the same idea. Going to listen Isao Tomita's rendition of "Mars, Bringer of War" by Holst. Probably going to listen to the rest of the album, if we survive.

And I'm going to do that while on the exercycle. If I'm gonna die, might as well pretend I'm trying to lose weight.
