It all goes back to Baycon '98. Which is a huge San Francisco Bay area Sci Fi convention. I love it dearly despite its recent spats with my local anime con Fanime. Baycon is a huge party con. I spent a lot of time at a party called Mara's Bar, which was Klingon themed. Klingon music, slave auction, people dressed up in great costumes, so on. While there, I happened to catch sight of a man in full Klingon makeup, with the robes and saber of a Jedi. Since I'm also a huge Star Trek fan, moreso at the time as well, it just clicked as the perfect pairing of two of my favorite things.

Made for IE Forum's Episode III theme month - May 2005.

I'm half Scottish (the other half Irish, and ALL Aussie).

Regicidal Maniac refers to the title character in Shakespeare's unmentionable 'the Scottish play' and it means crazed Monarch killer.

I made it up because I liked the sound of it.

Mine is from my hotmail account, and from many other logins I have. It's the first 5 letters of my first name and my last name. My other internet nick is TopCat (the hanna-barbera cartoon cat), I chose it because TopCat was on TV when I had to come up with a name, and because I enjoyed the cartoon.

Well, mine is pretty obvious. Best damned bounty hunter in the galaxy and natural enemy of Wookiees.

I've been a Bossk fan since the release of ESB back in '80 and he was always one of my favorite figures. Along with Boba Fett, he had one of the coolest scenes in the movie. I actually still have something like three of the original Bossk figs. It's also my license plate on my truck. Very few people get it. They think I'm slightly arrogant since my first name begins with a "K" and they think I'm saying "Boss K". Morons. My wife just thinks I'm a geek. I can handle that. She should just be happy I don't have all my SW stuff on display throughout our apartment.

My last name is Mackey and 256 is the last level in Pac-Man. Just showing my gaming roots.

If anyone else can guess the correct reason for the 256 I'll send them a box of cookies

Well if anybody's seen Mark Hamill's "Comic Book: The Movie," you'll know where my name came from.

And for those who haven't, in the film Hamill plays a comic book expert who's working on a movie for his favorite superhero (the fictional Commander Courage), but when he discovers the horrible direction the studio is taking it, he and some of his friends make it their mission to get Commander Courage back on track. The San Diego Comic Con is predominantly featured as well. This direct-to-DVD film recieved mediocre reviews, but it's a must for anyone with a love for comic book heroes.

Is it because of 256 colors (VGA)?

both good ideas. Actually back in the day when pagers were still popular those were the numbers I would put in on my friends so they would know it was me. On a phone 256 are my initials BJM.

I bet you would have never guess that.

I should have let the guessing go on for days but that is just mean.

Funny thing is Courage, that I just watched Comic Book: The Movie two days ago. Not too bad at all. Not the best, but still pretty damned good. Loved Donna D'errico's Liberty Lass outfit. Ouch.

I was merely looking for a name that would identify me not only as a Star Wars fan, but one who knew the minutiae of the SW universe well enough to discuss it intelligently.

Princess Leia: I happen to like nice men.
Han Solo: I'm a nice man.

But Gundarks are mentioned in the first Obi-Ani conversation in Attack of the Clones, and Han said Luke looked strong enough to pull the ears off one. How is that minutiae?

And my name: Well, Darth is the title of any Sith Lord, and Chaltab is an acronymic nickname. But I don't remember what it stands for.

Just because we know what a Gundar is doesn't mean everyone knows. That is a very obscure reference if you ask me. In fact I think were all nerds for even knowing it.

warbler is a kind of bird. Years ago when I started to play a computer game called Wing Commander, it asked me for a callsign, a nickname that my character would be refered to throughout the game. I couldn't think of anything to use. On table near where the computer was, a book on birds was sitting. I turned to a page at random. The page I happened to stop on was talking about warblers. So, I used that name in the game. From then on whenever I needed a name for a computer game, or a nickname for a forum or somthing of the like, I used warbler. And of course when I join here I did the same.

Ahh the glory days of Wing Commander. I remember then that was a cool game.

I'd say my forum name is pretty much self explanatory. My favorite parts of the Star Wars saga are the battles, whether it be X-Wing Fighters vs. Tie Fighters or a lightsaber duel. Thus, the name "Jedi Master."

yes it was, and so was II, III, and IV. I'd say II was my favorite.
