A little weird article. There are much more women in the films, you don't need to dig the cutting floor. Beru, Tonnika sisters, Hoth rebels (at least three), Cloud City personnel, Oola... Sure there could and probably should be more but still. I agree with the comment: "I'll go with "who cares?" for a thousand, Alex."

I haven't seen the BDs...

Also, few (none?) of the women you mentioned were in powerful roles.
