I blame the adults who are too busy frenetically split-screening each other to notice what is happening in any of the other rooms of the house.
I came downstairs after a particularly energetic session and found three victorian street urchins shooting up Doshin The Giant while still under the influence of freebased Metal Wolf Chaos.
It has to be stopped!

The videos are interesting.
Seems like the kid in the first one is doing just fine and has a reactionary dad, which I can understand. The problem there is more likely a lack of communication in the family than a supposed addiction.
Tyra Banks lolololololololololol. It's funny how she says "It's not our fault because you're beautiful" in that weird reverse feminism "you go girl" vein when she's like 6'2" and a supermodel. Also funny is how the guy was on the computer for ONE WHOLE HOUR and suddenly her life is ending; again, a likely lack of communication at fault here. There's a lot of resentment in their relationship, and I doubt WoW is to blame.
The last couple of videos are great; the kid holding the potted plant reminds me of a watered-down Monty Python character. I totally have the same computer case Kurt does, it contains the first computer I ever built. We also use the same keyboard, though mine is set to be green.

There was one particular video game addiction documentary I was looking for, actually, none of the ones I linked to are very interesting with the exception of the Tyra one, which is just amusing.
The one I was looking for was one that was posted in the video games thread, or somewhere else on this site, a few years ago and discussed. I figured the faces around here had changed a lot and it would be interesting to get into again, but I couldn't seem to find it. It was a pretty in depth documentary and it interviewed several different individuals, one being the mother of a WoW addict who eventually killed himself, which she attributed to his obsession. Anyone know the one I am talking about?
