I really hope they don't get really stupid titles.
^ This. I wonder if George already had titles in mind for his latest 'treatments'?
To be on the safe side I'd prefer if they are simply called this eventually...
Star Wars Episode VII
Star Wars Episode VIII
Star Wars Episode IX
(Star Wars Episode VII: Sith Happens)
Call them all Star Wars with no subtitle or episode number.
Get people to figure out which one is which by looking at the distinctive character designs and interesting plot pointers on the poster.
Episode VII: Resuscitation of the Franchise
Episode VIII: We're Gonna Need a Bigger Resuscitator
Episode IX: Flatlining But Still Merchandisable (The Big Cash-In)
^Is that when the ghost of Mace Windu says:
Somebody get these monkey fightin' snakes* off of this monday-to-friday x-wing!
*I prefere the mynock version
IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!
"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005
"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM
"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.

Episode VIII: The Search For More Money
I thought that was for Spaceballs 2, lol. Sorry off-topic :(.
One day we will have properly restored versions of the Original Unaltered Trilogy (OUT); or 1977, 1980, 1983 Theatrical released versions (Like 4K77,4K80 and 4K83); including Prequels. So that future generations can enjoy these historic films that changed cinema forever.
Yoda: Try not, do or do not, there is no try.
Well, Lucas would NEVER borrow an idea from another film series, or something, now would he?
:P
Star Wars Episode XXX: Erica Strikes Back
If you want Nice, go to France
The Forgotten Evil.
Eh, I don't know.
VII: The one that takes place after Return of The Jedi
VIII: The one that is kinda 'dark' like The Empire Strikes Back
IX: The one that sets up a possible "Star Wars: Episode X"
Star Wars Episode XXX: Erica Strikes Back
If you want Nice, go to France
VII: Jediz n the Hood
VIII: I'm Gonna Force Choke You Sucka
IX: White Droids Can't Weld
“Grow up. These are my Disney's movies, not yours.”
VII: We missed the bus
VIII: They missed the bus
IX: When's the next bus?
"There's no cluster of midiclorians that controls my destiny!" -Han Solo, from a future revision of ANH
Episode VII : Is ESB:R Out Yet?
Spoiler free for the ST
Star Wars Episode VII: Keepers of the Force
( you read it here first! ;) )
Is that like Dungeons and Dragons?
Pin Ups
Diamond Dogs
Young Americans
VII: Sabacc Royale
VIII: Quantum of Midichlorians
IX: Skywalkerfall
“Grow up. These are my Disney's movies, not yours.”
VII: Alderaan Graffitti
VIII: Star Wars and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
VIIII: Howard the Jedi
(I guess these wouldn't fit the new ownership, but I likes 'em.)

Well nope, it was not a joke reference to anything, just my proposition for an episode VII title.
I think "Keepers of the Force" have all the things needed for a SW title. You have the word "Force" that was not used yet in any titles. You have "of the" (already 3 titles have that, so why not a fourth), and you have "Keepers" who could refer either to the old Jedi (like Luke) or the new ones and also could be a wink to the new team of filmakers doing this new trilogy.
So yes, I think "Keepers of the Force" would be my choice.
But keepers?
Are the containing the Force?
Are they a barrier to the Force like a goal keeper or a gate keeper?
Outside the D&D usage it so specific a term that unless you know something about the plot that we don't it seems too random and dare I say it a bit boring.
Hey!!....you said 'just for fun'
