A rather simple suggestion: 3PO says, "There'll be no escape for the princess this time," in the original and purist editions, and Ady made the controversial change to simply, "There'll be no escape this time." Well, in the novel 3PO says something like, "There's no escape for the Captain this time," and seems throughout the movie to be completely ignorant as to Leia's presence and role on the ship. He's never shown any skill at being a liar, and the film gives every indication that he really didn't know what was going on. I wonder if a future release could simply say, "There'll be no escape for the captain [or 'Captain Antilles'] this time." It seems logical and consistent with both the way the film unfolds and the way the novel reads.
