These 2 guys as you call them are mostly responsible for the production of the new dual layer asian set. I finally received a sample set today to submit my opinion on them.

The good:
Much better transfer than the 2000 LOOK OT bootleg set and no audio delays
Spiffy covers and inserts
Dual layer-allows for bonus features on the same disc as the movie
Decent menus

The bad:
Leia welding scene is missing
Audio is 192k 2.0 or a fake 5.1 track-no 1500k PCM audio-heavy fidelity/panning loss on the 2.0, although the 5.1 is somewhat stronger
Subtitles are frequently wrong or incomplete

The ugly:
Video is too dark (brightness/gamma) and the color is a bit subdued-contrast is ok
Deinterlacing was not done correctly, causing some lag/blurring and very visible interlacing, especially in fast motion scenes.
Artifacting is worse than the 2 DVDR sets, despite it being a dual layer set
Upward moving dark lines are very evident, suggesting old/dirty/poor quality LD players were used

Verdict:
6.5/10-Decent effort, and definately better than the old asian set, but it's very obvious this was produced primarily to make money.
I do not fault the US coordinators for this as I know communication was not direct with the creators, but it still does not excuse what I consider to be a shoddy product.
