Maybe he just went unconcious. tarkin, on the other hand, was in the middle of a giant explosion that was probably 100-200x bigger than hiroshima and nagaski combined, and the size of a small moon/big country. There is NO possibly way that ANYBODY could survive that.

I aint sure how Luke skywalker survived the first death star explosion. Remember the scene when he fired the proton missiles torpedos into the exhaust port/reactor shaft, and he was that little tunnel on the death star. Wouldn't he have been affected by the radius of the explosion???

Because it's a fact.  If you know the differences between the tow genres you can easily see why Star Wars is classed as fantasy as opposed to Fiction.

Mostly because that's what George Lucas has said it is on many, many occasions (because it is, and he wrote it as such). He also uses the term 'space opera' from time to time...

In all seriousness, FS, you are the first one to suggest something that is completely implausible (that maybe Tarkin survived) in spite of a lack of evidence. Then you demand that others disprove your theory if they disagree. His comment about Captain Antilles was obviously mocking you by using the exact same strategy.

By the way, the Death Star alone is more than 1 million times the size of all of Japan. I think its explosion would be far larger than a mere 100-200 times the size of the explosions of the weakest nuclear bombs in history.

Guys, is it safe to assume that Han Solo suffered from a severe case of constipation???????????????? I mean I have not once seen him take a dump and we follow his character for some four years. No wonder he seems so tired by the end of "Star Wars Episode 6: Return Of The Jedi".

At least we have the hot'n'sexy long-haired muscle-bound Hayden Christensen to look forward to in that movie, right????????????
