Warb, I think wd made a very reasonable argument. I think everybody understood what he meant, there was no need to spell it out. But I will do that, cause I'm the self appointed dispenser-of-things-that-are-obvious.
Basically what he meant was:
If it was true, your money was going to a good cause.
If it was a lie, justice would have been done anyway, plus your conscience would have been clean, cause you'd done your part in doing something good for your neighbour (in principle). Now, I believe this hold true for anybody, not just christians. I, for one, agree with that. WD was just trying to appeal to your religious sensibility to make things easier for you. But you seem to have a reputation for being easily offended. And these posts of yours really don't help your reputation.
My two cents.
A humble word of advice, if you'll accept it: don't always jump right into conclusions, try and control your temper, and show respect towards your neighbour, cause he respects you.
