Oh, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying that, if that is a shot from your AVI, it's too dark, and most of the stars will get swallowed up in the MPEG. As I've said, I've had to balance between bright stars and a washed out Star Destroyer on the opening sequence. As we speak, I am compiling an MPEG at a bitrate of 8/6 (high/avg.), just to see what kind of file size I get.

Fry's is selling a 250 for $119. I'm running 3 160's and a 250 (all Maxtor), and most of them are full!

I bought a WinTVGO model 190 for $40 bucks, and as you can see, it is kicking ass (with third-party software). The results are far superior to what I thought I would get using my $700 digicam with analog pass-through. Go figure.
