Well, I guess I should introduce myself, seeings I am somewhat new to this whole Star Wars preservation thing.

I am an old Star Wars fan from 1977. I saw the movie in a theater in Grand Rapids, MI in June/July of 1977 and immediately loved it. I am also one of those guys who remembers certain aspects of the film, but not everything...like Luke throwing the grappling hook twice.

There are certain things in 'other preservations' that I don't believe are 'correct' and I'd like to be able to offer my theatrical knowledge, to help this project create the proper look that the movie had in the theaters in the summer of '77.

I'm hoping to be able to join in with the discussion here pretty soon, so I can give my input and or advice.
