The subtitles will stay the same as they are in the current mkv and AVCHD.
There was never any 7GB mkv - the mkv is 15GB and the AVCHD is 7.9GB.
There will only be minor fixes made to the BD release but there will be quite a few, plus some interesting bonus material.
