listening to George talk about his beloved franchise in purely monetary terms, revenues streams etc and about his retirement /handing over the reigns etc maybe he has almost relaxed to the point where a restored GOUT would be seen as just another product or revenue stream that sat alongside the current incarnations of the 2 trilogies. its gotta be a more viable idea than 3d versions of the films.
on a side note there has been no mention of the Clone Wars series in the deal and what will happen with Lucasfilm's Animation Division, I hope Filoni and his crew are somehow involved in the new trilogy as IMHO their attention to detail has really brought the series into line with the ideals of the original STAR WARS than what they originally were given to work with.
