If they fixed up the current EU and then put it to bed, they could establish a whole new canon.

They could start with the OT storylines and expand from there. They could recycle the best of the OEU and the stories and elements that had promise but weren't put into full effect.

I don't know about this site. Such extensive altering of the properties is sure to draw attention. Honestly, if I were a Disney legal beagel, I'd be dropping C&Ds on this site like a blizzard.

I hope the real talent around here could conitnue. On an approved secure site if nothing else.
