power went out for a couple of seconds. Probably won't too long before I lose power for awhile.

A Goon in a Gaggle of 'em
Found a giant dead spider in a pint glass in the kitchen.
Tempted to keep it as an Halloween decoration but I don't won't some dumb kid thinking it's licorice.
Ermm...
Spider not dead.
Spider outside now.
I was sitting on the couch with my niece who was holding a kitten. I suddenly noticed that she was holding a big spider between two fingers trying to place it on the cat's head. I jumped several feet away imploring her to stop, stop, stop...*shudders* I did put it outside though.
Not spider related: I feel bad for this guy.
The blue elephant in the room.
Danny (or Headhunter to his friends) says:
Horrible really but they're like that the little girls.

will try.
I've never been to the movies. A combination of cheap parents, lack of real close friends, and distance has prevented me from doing so. It's not so much a burden on me anymore, however, because in this age of CGI-overkill and unoriginality, I have no desire to waste the money.
Times Square today.

I still have power and my basement hasn't flooded yet. I think the worst is passed me. But they is still going to be a lot of wind and some rain yet to come. I have been very lucky so far . . . or maybe I got a friend in a high place somewhere.

END OF LINE
(It hasn’t happened yet)
got up this morning and found that the cable was out. We have the phones, tv, internet via cable, so when the cable goes down, they all go down. It just came back about ten minutes go. I consider myself extremely lucky that that is the worst problem I've had from Sandy.
I never thought I would be 2 degrees from Doug Walker.
