But what I mean is, actors are paid a whole lot of money to act. I think it's unfair when they complain about the job, and you clearly see it's not such a bad job. Ewan McGregor is getting paid to act against bluescreen all the time and make it belivable. I do not like the way GL directs his movies now, 10 minutes of principal photography under a bluescreen and 2 years of post-production, BUT... they all knew what it was all about, and being actors, they gotta know how to act no matter how difficult the situation might be.
Reminds me of a story I heard about Hitchcock's Birds. I can't recall the name of the actress, but there's a scene where she hears noises coming from the second floor of her house, and she goes up, opens the door, and the birds atack her. When she was on set to do the scene, she asked Hitchcock: "Why? Why would she go up there? Why should I do this?", and he replied "Because I'm telling you to do it."
