Hi!

This is my first post on the forum and I'm very exited to find out about this community. I discovered it a couple weeks ago when looking for info on the original LPCM LD track for The Terminator, and I've been obsessively reading the threads since then.

I consider myself a purist in regards to movie presentation and since I'm a great Alien fan I decided this would the thread to start posting, specially in face of this great news about the THX LD PCM 70m sourced track.

having gone through the whole thread, I still have one doubt regarding this PCM track. If you don't mind me asking, is it a bit perfect rip or is it a capture?

If it's indeed the former, then it must be a real gem and must sound incredible. I'm a huge fan of Laserdisc audio and I'm very much interested in preservation projects that tie their PCM tracks with BD video.
