Nope. DVD+R with a bitsetting drive > DVD-R. Also has better error correcting features. Bitsetting is trivial to use nowadays; it's just a setting in ImgBurn. Granted you have to set it each and every time you begin the program but I thought that bitsetting (e.g. so that the DVD+R appears as a DVD-ROM to any player reading it) was something that everybody knew about by now...
