negative1, this is really looking nice! Kind of teaser-like, similar to what the studios used to put out  many decades ago, to promote their up coming movies.

Can't wait to see the final product.

Thanks for all the hard work you are putting into this!

thanks again everyone,

also it's a team effort, not just me... there are other people helping a lot!

some more points:

================================

1 for people that want samples, or haven't seen

it already... check out the bottom of the first post.

i re-uploaded the trailer, in streaming and downloadable.

the download is 1080p wmv, so that should give you

a good idea... it's from the original 1976 teaser

mixed in with our LPP, and our red print too..

2 the color matches the technicolor in a lot of places,

but not all of them, you'll see that some scenes are

a lot darker due to the nature of the LPP.

remember - this first reel preview is a slightly

color corrected version, there is a slight faded element

to it, but that's about it.. you are seeing the natural

color as it is on the actual printe

3 some of the reels require very little work, except

for the heads and the tails..

---------------------------------------------------------------------

haven't you guys noticed anything interesting in

watching it?

does it feel like watching a film?

do you have an idea of what the uncropped picture

looks like?

do you think the noise, dirt and reel change marks

are too distracting? (because most of it is going

to be gone in the final version, except the reel

change marks)..

this is a good indicator of how the 'rawer' grindhouse

version (not the PLUS one) will be like... would/could you

watch the whole movie in this quality (720p/1080p)?

did you notice color differences in scenes, like the

r2d2 in the valley scene? or when c3po and r2d2

are shot out of the spaceship at the beginning..

do you notice the grain in the tatooine scenes?

what about the color shift that occurs in the

segments?

the original intro is made from original crawl,

1 lpp portion, and a second lpp portion for

the flyover at the very beginning, see that?

notice how some camera shots are really shaky?

of course, with my handheld shaky camera parts,

you might not be able to tell.. but there wasn't much

in stabilization going on.. so the final picture will be

more stable...

look at the filenames, and you'll see i have several

takes of each of the reels, downconverts, some with

sound, some without....

there's a lot going on in those clips..

you need to UNLEARN....
