Hmm, I dunno. This seems like something that needs to be verified. I mean it's a Huffington Post article, they're not exactly known for being Star Wars experts. =P While it's true that the Clone Wars micro-series is out of print, but so are the Droids and Ewok shows as well as the Ewok films. That doesn't necessarily mean they're being buried like the Holiday Special.
It'd take some digging in the latest Star Wars guides to be certain that they've been removed from C-canon.
