That statement does have some finality to it. Makes it seem that Adywan won't be have much else to do with the boards? I doubt that, so are you simply saying there won't be anymore ESB: Revisited threads?

I'm pretty sure it's implied that doubleofive's statement should end with ".....other than for each individual project"

I don't know what's more shocking:  the fact that somebody wanted a new Vader scene (complete with horrible dialog) put into Star Wars, or the fact that nobody told him he was nuts.  You guys are getting soft!  :P

How the hell would the Empire get that information so quickly, anyway?  Ugh.

It would be unnecessarily rude to call someone names for contributing an idea that wasn't a universal hit.

Maybe there could be an genius way of interpreting the idea or thinking about the idea might lead to another idea of more merit.

The Empire may have some fiendish way of ID stamping the voice transmissions intercepted from his fighter (for example).

I personally can't see a way of turning that into a sequence that adds value to an edit but someone might.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Sorry to panic some of you.

I always assumed the "flat" finish on Vader in his opening scene in ANH was due to all the smoke and dust in the air following the corridor firefight. I assumed he got polished up later on. His suit might have some kind of internal scrubber system, but I like the idea that there was an attendant with a chamos and some turtle wax to clean him up before he started talking to people.

I thought his circular chamber polished him up.

Yeah, sorry, let me rephrase.

I was under the impression that whenever Vader was in the need, he would sneak a peek into his (hush-hush) annular cavity and let those things do what they do best to him: wax and rub every nook and cranny while making sure to finish his knobs too.

Better?

The whole thing happened so fast that Vader had to rush out in the middle of being repainted, so the flat black is just the primer. In between the battle and interrogations he had time to finish up his glossy paint job.

You know, looking at that pic reminds me of those 1970's Olen Mills family photos...

Where were you in '77?

Yeah! Three Wampa Hoth would be a way cooler shirt than the Three Wolf Moon.

No but Star Wars (1977) was always filmed with a sequel in mind (either the cheaper Splinter In The Mind's Eye or the more expensive Episode 2 later V).

Sounds painful!
