About the dvds and blurays having alot of detail also.

My view on it is that yes of course the blu ray is gonna look better from a detail standpoint. But the colors are kinda fucked and well the cgi changes UUUUUUUGH.
So I'm not so much impressed by seeing star wars with lots of detail as much as that I'm excited a fan project can squeeze so much detail out of a 3rd generation print. (vs the o-negs the blu rays would've used)

I do note that I'm not nearly as hardcore as some of you, and would probably be satisfied enough with the current blu rays if they didn't feature any cgi and/or sound changes. Recomposits don't really bother me that much and I don't mind minor stuff like redone fades. (the "essence" of the movie stays the same with those kind of changes)

That being said I'd vastly prefer a blu-ray with decent looking colors etc. And I definitely wouldn't MIND seeing matte lines or anything, I am rather indifferent to them.
