Going by the opening & ending shots, this project has gone from "promising" to "extremely promising". I can't declare "perfect", as the shots are compressed web videos on a not-perfectly-calibrated monitor, but I am quite excited none-the-less!

Three questions, which may have been answered at some point:

1. What resolution is cleanup being performed in?

actually it's in higher than 1080p, but then the final

results will be downsampled to 1080p, thus preserving

the most detail until the end.

2. What will the source of the sound be?

1) mono english - 2 reels from the red print, the rest reconstructed

from the mono restoration version

2) stereo  english - a combined soundtrack from some of the 35mm reels

with other sources

3) 5.1  english - again, an altered version based on hairy_hens

reconstruction

4) stereo spanish - all taken from the 35mm lpp print, with the han

shoots greedo scene spliced in from another source (because it's

in english)

3. At some point before the ACTUAL release, might you release at least ONE finished shot?

That's all from me until the next MAJOR news release...

well, maybe, but the trailer that we put up has plenty of shots

that are indicative of the quality in 1080p
